Konstantinovsky palace. New sound.
Konstantinovsky palace has rich music traditions. In the family of the owners of the Strelna Palace and Park Ensemble in the 19th century, patronage of the Imperial Russian Musical Society was a passing honorary duty. The Konstantinovsky palace was famous for its salons and musical evenings. A. G. Rubinstein, M. A. Balakirev, and N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov have been here. With the opening of the State Complex within the walls of the former Grand Duke's residence, music started to sound again. Nowadays, famous Russian and foreign musicians perform here.
State Complex the National Congress Palace together with the Peterburg-Concert company invite you to take part in a unique event – “Konstantinovsky palace. New sound”. The event includes a sightseeing tour of the main halls of the former grand duke’s residence and a classical music concert.
